Sadly, no “Before” pics were taken…This project would have taken the prize! Small rooms separated the original Kitchen from both the covered Back Porch, and the formal Dining Room in the original floor plan.
The removal of the walls separating the three spaces, helped to maximize the footprint of the Kitchen in this Highpark home.
Fully customized cherry wood stained cabinetry with an extra deep island incorporating a microwave and dishwasher define this space. The original floors throughout the mainfloor and the stairs were sanded and stained to match the new cork flooring in the Kitchen. Floor to ceiling cabinetry was designed for storage.
A glass and marble backsplash was selected by the client, and give their Kitchen a personal touch. Granite countertops, a new window and 3/4 glass exterior door were added to bring in the light. A seamless renovation that modernized and added tremendous value to their entire home.
